Let's get back to tube tops and those pants that zipped front to back. Two of my favorites from the late 70s..... And my 1980 SR5 .

 

Leg warmers are also a thing that I liked. When I was a little lad in the 80s, it definitely imprinted on me, because when they came back in the 2000’s it was like the mating plumage of birds. If a girl had on legwarmers, it signaled to me to put my trucker hat on crooked and go show her all my cool ass feathers.

The 70's were my impressionable years. Tube tops. No bras. Hot pants. Ironed straight hair. Mini skirts. Me and Marcia Brady are same age.

 

I know right. Policing is a hot topic right now, but tailgates? Is the deal going down at the docks at midnight? Is the commissioner gonna be there? Are they shipping these things to Russia with stolen Levi’s jeans?

 

Guessing since the OP didn’t reply, he went to fetch the tailgate. Problem is that the Stockton aunties stole that shit and beat his ass with a beer mug. I don’t think he can reply. Probably getting stitches.

 

You gotta understand we kid quite a bit here lol.

 

I would drop the truck in there driveway with a note on the windshield that reads Ladies and Gents here is the truck to match the tailgate key is under floor mat and report the truck stolen. Why bother with small crap when you can go big.

It was kidding. This place is extremely lighthearted. Not much serious unless someone is in trouble, real trouble. Then we get serious.

 

Whoa, I wasn't expecting this thread to blow up. Unfortunately, she suddenly just seemed to give up on the tailgate. I emailed the seller for her and acted as an interested party, but the seller never responded. I told her to call the local PD and explain the situation, but I don't think she ever followed through. Sorry I don't have any juicy stories, at least not yet.

 

LOL, she's cute but I am just trying to help her out and I hate thieves. I am not nearly big or tough enough to go to someone's house in search of stolen goods though.

This is defintely the photo she sent me, and I didn't notice and scratches either, but she says she does. Also, I do find it odd the pic was posted almost at the exact time her gate walked away, and was taken at night.
Edit: I wonder if he took the pic while he was stealing her tailgate.

 

Would I have bothered helping otherwise?
