I didnt. I bought as is from a used lot. i am overall happy with the purchase but i dont think i will ever buy from a used lot again. lots of shady things they tried to pull on me, including spot delivery scam.

Not sure about others but FedEx Express (in our location) is holding packages in the local station in designated areas for customers that are closed due to covid 19. If you have the tracking number they should be able to tell you where the package is being held at that facility. Other companies may be doing something different.

 

Correct. The shipper would have to be the one to change or reroute the package to a different address and there may be an additional charge in order to do that.

This is good to know, thank you. The outfit I work for normally employs around 2000 people. On-site staffing was cut to around 90 during the Covid19 lockdown (including security, fire protection, housekeeping, etc.). Four of those 90 people worked in shipping/receiving and were there just to receive and process shipments. We normally get at least one truckload per day from each carrier, sometimes more.
