How I missed this idk but the XJ is the toy and I don’t owe shit minus insurance which is 50 bucks a month minus it was beat to fuck when I bought it. New rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, PCV valve, plugs, rotor button and distribution cap, entire brand new from end with tie rods, ball joints, drag link, steering stabilizer, drop Pitman arm, wheel bearings was fine, all new fluids throughout the entire thing, including diffs, new u-joints in the rear, new pinion bearing.....man, I know I’m forgetting a shit ton of other stuff can’t think without the sleep I’ve been lacking lol. Taco is the garage queen which I need to get armor for and to gawk at and drive around when I wanna go fish hauling my jon boat or 20’ bullet bass boat.

The next thing on this fucking XJ that will go out is the trans but it’s a 5 speed AX-15 with 330k on it with new synchros in it who knows how long ago lol. I do know that those trans are stout fuckers so I should be fine.......In theory.

It says even you, little old you, is over-qualified for it. Sorry, you're not dumb enough to work there. Take it as a compliment. Though there is starting to be some decent Chinese tools, the people still working at the local one...... My sweet summer children...

Sometimes you can be a perfect fit for a place and they pass you up. Nothing wrong with you, just their expectations and perceptions

I actually think it'd be a fine gig.
I think our local one must have a contract with the state for that program to pay employees less and state covers the rest of pay, for the disabled or something
