Trying to decide which of these 2 throw-over saddlebags to buy. The Thrashin' looks way better, but is $150 more and is just slightly smaller than the Kuryakyn. I won't be leaving the bags on all the time though, just will put them on when I'm going to go pickup beer or whatnot, so I guess the looks aren't that important....

Two six packs fit in these:

I was actually thinking about selling my saddlebag setup but not sure.

I was lookin at those too, but think I want a bit bigger. May do Route 66 with my uncle and dad sometime in the next year, so I'd want a little extra room. I'll need to get cruise control installed though before I do that trip lol.

I like your bag setup, but seems a pain to put on and off haha. I'm likin the throw over bags for their ease of use.

My old sporty had a thumb knob “cruise control”. I’m surprised they didn’t include something like that on these models. It was basically a set screw under your throttle that you could tighten down with your thumb to tension the throttle in place. You could still manually decelerate but the set screw held it in place and basically stopped the return spring from pulling it closed.

Went to a meet-up this morning and met some awesome people, will be going back next month for sure. I saw some really unique bikes.

Also, today’s trip allowed me to hit another milestone: 2,500+ miles under my belt (bike currently reads 23,580).

Ya my buddies little Honda scooter has one he put on. He said he has another he’s gonna give me. It sounds like a similar setup to what you described.

This is your friend on long trips. Had it on two harleys and on my KTM 990 that I rode Durango to Maine and back.

The difference with the Kaoko is that you can take your hand off.

Love my Kaoko. Blends in super well and is so easy to set and release.

I guess it depends on what you are after. DO you want something that will hold the throttle without your hand on it, or assist you making it easier to hold open?

for a "lock", my wife has Kaoko, I've had Atlas.
for assist, scramp buster and the one you show are all about the same as far as i know
