What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I am actually in the process now of giving something new a try. Saw this Vvivid vinyl wrap that is Bed Liner on CK Wraps YouTube channel. Going to lay down some Kilz as smooth as I can and see if this wrap will stand up to the task.

I added another layer of sound deadener to the inside door panels today to complete the process and added a new amplifier the JL HD600/4

 

Added a UnderCover Armor Flex bed cover to ye ole Taco. It's coated with Line-X bed liner. And comes with a 5 year warranty.

 

My 2017 has BSM. Well, it did. Got removed when I had the high clearance rear bumper installed.


Ran wires from my aux battery back to the cab for two DC outlets for the fridge and whatever. While I was at it I ran power back to the bed for a DC and USB outlet there also.

 

Added the third rail in the bed. Price was reasonable ~$60 delivered. But I had to say a big WTF to the price for the end caps. $30???

 

Diggin' these flaps.

 

Washed the truck. That’s about it.

 

They are nice but too expensive to ship to me in Ontario.

 

Threw in a set of neoprene rear seat covers today.
Fronts will be here next week.

Built my own Chase Rack. I needed a little extra storage. Used the following
1) Westin headache rack supports
2) ladder rack reconfigured to allow for tonneau cover and not be too High
3) left over hitch carrier

I installed the MattGecko LED bed lights.

 

Yes please. Having a hard time visualizing what you did there.

 

I don't have BSM on mine. I thought BSM goes to 2018 and up.

Maybe off road and up have them in 2017.mine is TRD sport.

 

Added door sill protectors today. Gotta wait for the letter inserts. Replaced the start/stop and 4x4 rings. Removing the dash wasn’t as easy as the great @MESO video makes it look, but with some patience and more muscle that I thought, it worked great. Love the MGM replacement rings. Now gets get the climate rings. Having a few beers now
