SDR is a v-twin.... 1301cc, 175hp, 100lbsft torque.

 

This was in 2007-08 lol been out of the bike game since then.

175hp is no joke....hell even 130hp was no joke for a little guy like me.

Exterior and interior are cleaned. Now onto this:


Spark plugs looked good, nothing worth noting. Appears to be a well maintained motor.

 

Just keep an eye on the oil. Honda and Toyota 4 pots are notorious for burning. Last I knew Honda had a secret warranty enhancement on oil burning

 

@eon_blue squeaky leafs suck. The tundras leaf pack sounds like a fucking bed in a whore house

 

2009-2011 TSX's were notorious for it. This 2012 is past the recall so it should be good.

 

“Should”. All these new cars with 0w-20 burn. Beat way to avoid it is ignore the 10k oci, do it every 5k

Thats the plan. The PO changed it 300 mi ago but Im gonna do it tomorrow anyways so I know how much I put in vs. how much I get out in 5k miles. I think it will use some, but not a ton like the 09-2011 cars did. Some of those were 1qt per 1k miles.

Anything with VTEC will burn a little oil from my experience. The civics and accords we own and have owned have always burned a little oil

 

Not too sure about Toyota engines post year 2000, but they say up to 1 qt per 1000 miles can be considered normal

 

Nothing a little 5W40 can't fix
