What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Took her for a drive through Bass River State Forest and Wharton State Forest and then took the chrome off. I also replaced the blue alt-j start/stop and 4X4 rings. They were very nice but didn’t flow in my truck. Got the Meso MGM color and I feel it’s close to the stock ring color. And put the red ring on the shifter.

 

Upgraded the interior color

 

I've seen his stuff and wanna buy it. However, I'm no wiring expert, and I'm a bit nervous about installing this w/o much experience in doing so. So I guess my question: for a worrier like me, how would you rate this? Yay or nay?

 

Just curious.. Which gen Tacomas had just plain inside rear view mirrors? No auto dim or compass? Curious because I found a practically new Auto-Dim mirror with Homelink in my garage today, with plug and pigtail, and wondering where I should list it in the Buy/Sell/Trade section of this forum. Any help? or suggestions?

Finally got my pro tail lights in! More chrome gone! A day late thanks to being delayed because of what UPS says was 'Civil demonstrations' . Now if someone on Craigslist would bite on my OR tail lights, I would be even happier.

What which load index/speed rating do i want to go with? For Duratracs

 

Found some left over rubber diamond plate step things today, decided the wheel wells in the bed were a little too slick when wet so I stuck them there. I think it make a nice little step that I dont have to worry about falling off of.

The rubber diamond plate things are self adhesive, precut and available at walmart.

 

My 17 has BSM

 

Installed sliders yesterday, adjusting my 6112s to 6/5 and putting in 650 # springs using to no compressor method. If I have time I’ll do full the full skids I have sitting around, but I don’t think I can install my fumoto valve without doing a full oil change which I’m not set up for today.

 

Very true. BSM have been an option since 2016.

mine was about 40 with the rail and end caps delivered. The end caps were 9 each and I thought that was steep.

 

I have the same thing. One wire to the battery. One wire to ground. Supper easy. Just my input

I think you had to have the Tech package to get BSM if my memory serves me right
