Well, call it being anxious, as I've only had my new tacoma for 2 weeks, I ordered the new TRD Black Beadlock rims, 265/70 GY Wrangler Silent Armours...

I'm hoping the Silent Armours stick up as good as the reviews, I was curious if anyone else is running these? any real lose is MPG from stock Rugged Trails?

Other option was Michelin LTX AT/2...

I know, Pics to come Friday after everything is mounted!

well, it took longer then I thought, but here are some pics.

I'll post another one of the truck in daylight tomorrow! I can't believe the difference from the BFGroodrich Rugged Fails though, so happy to be rid of these things!

The next thing will be to sell these BFG's with only 700 miles on em!

i ran silent armour on my 2500 avalanch "work truck" and they were a good all around tire, but I found mine wore a bit faster then other tires in its class

I'm hoping they wear nicely! They are night and day from the BFG's though, so even if I get 40k out of em, I'll be happy! Finally was able to get a daylight photo of the truck with the new rims and tires too.

    looks great bud!

I just replaced my silent armors this month to duratracs. I thought they were a great all round tire, were very good in snow/ice for an a/t and good road manners. I bought the truck with them already on so not sure how many miles they had and put on another 40,000km's this year and they still had another 10-20,000km's left in them
