I’m assuming that I’ll only know if I got canbus is when it shows up to my house.

You should have had an option. Basicalyl you need the same one as the JBL setups. I ordered the other one and found out when it arrived I needed the canbus. If you do not have a canbus then you will know.

Does anyone have both a front and rear camera with these? Wondering which ones work well.

Quite a few. Using stick rear and just need to hook up my front. I can either plug in and use direct or need to follow up on how to use my anytime setup. It was figured out you need to power it so I need to follow up.

I have the Natika that’s linked below in products mentioned. It was a popular choice among the anytime mid mod group

Mounting the stock mount brackets onto the dasaita...any tricks??? Can’t seem to find a way to line up, Mark, and drill holes to make sure it’s flush with the dash.

Currently here. Also, there’s dimples that line up to the stock radio holes. What’d everyone do?

    EDIT

ah, I see most people didn’t use the brackets. Must have read right past that page. Thanks!!

@kamakazie_1 I will not have the bottom bracket clips from the hazard switch bracket. Is yours still secure enough with just the top three clips? Feel like I should probably put something down there to secure the bottom...thoughts?

Suggest you get creative. Find a way to mark the holes that need be drilled. Others have done it, so it can be done. Other thoughts may be to head down to a hardware store and find a metal bracket you could use in place of the OEM one. I'm wanting to do this. My 09 has the bottom clips and that's all I have securing it. I was doing some wheeling a few months back and the whole damn unit almost popped out lol.

So with that said, I am planning on tackling this very thing Monday, if I figure this out I'll walk you through it if you hadn't already

Hey Rob, why are your bottom clips not holding? I had to make a notch in the bottom of the head unit panel to allow the clips to click in, but yes, even with my rough arse dirt road to the house it has held good without the bracket..

Because with the actual hazard bracket on it doesn’t sit flush to the bezel.

When I ordered mine it said something like that, but it came in much sooner than it said.. And it was back in Oct 2019 too before the current world situation..

Okay so I just got my Dasaita headunit in. To the guy saying a 2mo ETA, I ordered from amazon on 7/3 and got it today 7/13. (Amazons ETA was 9/23 so I was surprised when I saw the email alert saying it landed in KY the other day)

I havn't looked yet, but I am assuming the canbus adapter needs to be purchased separately? Also anything else that I need or should pickup before ripping my dash apart?

I have a 2014 DCSB so I am going to have to figure out how to mount this thing myself.. I guess I have pages to read through, but no one has figured out an easy solution yet for the 2.5 gens?

Can anyone confirm if this is the reverse activation wire? My previous Pumpkin android stereo had a Reverse wire and a Brake (Park Brake) wire. I assume this Back wire means reverse.
