Thats what I planned on doing if I lifted. Medium Dakars I dont want to go heavies cause I dont have the need for heavies. Also am not really feeling the $2k cash drop right at this moment.

In-between torrential downpours was able to install my @Mobtown Offroad tailgate reinforcement & cap. Definitely feels a lot more solid now!

How did you remove the overhead liner without folding it or bending it too much?

 

Love this thing. Best thing ever. Perfer the plastic cap w/ the tailgate but... just my 2 cents.

I am hoping adding a winch and bumper weight will help.. otherwise ill be removing them and going some other route. If i was not at the 3in mark i dont think it would be as bad.

 

If you're looking for much better brakes you have to do the Tundra MC/booster swap.

A quick recap:

I installed a Rough Country 6 switch pod that came with a relay/fuse panel box. Rough Country put all of the connections on the firewall side - no beuno, I couldn't see the terminals or the screws when I attached wires and yes I did get it wrong because of that - twice, so so stupid of a design, and where did Rough Country put the labeling for the terminals? Where the wiring covers up the labels of course... my phone is slimmer than my head:

And another thing, the Jeep has to be running to use any of it, because Rough Country built to where it needs 13+ volts just to turn on, so when there's a problem the tech needs to sit in the engine bay with the engine running just to diagnose the problem, God I hate engineers!!!

So my TACOMA has BFG 37/12.50R17's and this shop had some Toyo 37/12.50R17's right next to where I parked, so I compared the ancient KO 37's to the new Toyo 37's:

The opposite sides of the tires were even btw. That must be why people think mine has 35's, because they actually do look like 35's. Lmao!

Lastly, when is a company going to make fenderwell inserts for the Tacoma? Because:

This is number 5 accident. Not sure WTH is going on. The accident totaled 3 out of 4 involved and I almost got completely out of the way, but got clipped on the right rear corner. Wrinkled my fender and busted the tail light. Anybody got any tail lights?

 

Hahaha you remind me of myself. The next day it is like a different person coming to check out any shenanigans I posted the night before while drinking

Today I unbolted my left rear fender flare and threw it in the the bed after my Cooper STT pros tore it off the rivets on the trail...then I used a knife to cut part of my right front wheel well liner also because my tires ripped it loose too...but I didn’t get stuck anywhere and the other day I did something a bit cooler. Hopefully soon I can share about trimming my fenders so that I don’t have to cut my shit up on the trail.
