Knocked out the bit of play i had in the bed side track
1/2 mill play across 4-1/2 feet.

I know bench mills that are looser than that

 

Helped @Manfred with the ecgs bushing
Pulled his truck apart and remembered we needed the tool so i made one
Forgot to take a picture of the final product

My buddy, also Eugene, got two weeks ago 2020 Rubi 2dr less than 3k kms, took him today to Anson North for some gnarly mud and rocks.
he survived trial by me

 

Didn't tear off the rear license plate - good times (apparently happens often on JLs).

I am constantly refilling my steering fluid(stop-a-leak and p/s fluid) lol, ain't a leak gonna stop me from 4wd. Drive till it dies.

by adjustable, do you mean a folding one?
was thinking of going with an adjustable bracket but the only Rhino-rack one is

So right now i was thinking either hack one of these folding table leg brackets or go with

Adjustable for tuning it.

There is a screw on the tip that allows you to make it longer and shorter for tuning.

That is adjustable.

 

@Shveet this^ I should have said a tunable instead of adjustable.

 

I have the TEQ ECGS install tool. I will ship it to any CUNT who needs it. You guys shipped it to me, just paying it forward.

and this is the reason i've not added a CB yet. I have literally no idea what i'd be doing without you guys

i was always under the assumption that it's tuned by cable length since it screws with the frequency, so you'd need to trim down the cable little by little to hit th right spot, or is that just HAM radios or did i just read some weird shit on the internet that makes no sense?

 

Have you though running one for steering racks, asking for a friend

 

Just adjust the tuning tip on the antenna so you don’t burn out the CB. Don’t coil the extra cable length from the antenna to the radio. Also get a spring for the antenna so it doesn’t get snapped off by branches and a quick release for the antenna, that way you can take it off before going into a parking garage and won’t bash the crap out of it.
