So it’s funny you ask. What I did was put a floor jack under one side of the axle and jack up as high as I could until the truck started lifting. Then I measured remaining shock shaft and cut the bump accordingly.

This was wrong though. Due to axle geometry and shit my shocks bottomed out like 1” before bump stops hit. What I ended up having to do was go stuff the tire off-road and put new ones on.

did you cut the new ones too or just leave them what they were? I don’t have any places near me where I can go stuff my tires off-road so that’s why I was seeing what you were at. I’m on 285s.

When I noticed I was bottoming out, I took some measurements While off-road and determined I needed them to be an inch longer. So I got new ones and cut them an inch longer.

you could also break down your leaf pack to articulate it in your driveway. I redid my bumps/lower mounts recently and that’s what I did.

@sasquatch95 what hose orientation are you running? Straight or 90*? A pic would be excellent.

Don't mind the dirt and rust. Everything is coming off this summer for a rebuild and clean up... but I'm running a straight fitting off the shock and the resi is mounted on the other side of the bump stop mount

Hey Jerry, a minor suggestion if I may. When the lower shock mounts are clocked downward to allow proper bump travel the lower eyelet on the shock gets a bit gouged by the steel. It’s a quick fix with a flap disc but thought I would show because it would be an easy tweak when cutting them out.

I am fixing to do two more relocates. Did you just bevel / round the edges off?

Yeah I just marked it with a welders pencil and used a flap disc. Didn’t need to take much off at all. Rather than an even sloped curve, now there’s a little more of an angle. I wish I took pics of my mark line

You can kinda see here the before and how the back end hits. Which at full stuff there should be maximum clearance

My back ordered icon springs finally came in and I was able to set up the bamf mounts with some temporary bilstiens, waiting for fox’s to come in, back ordered...bump was set up for the fox’s compressed measurement.

2017 SR, rims are 16x8 with 3.75 backspace, custom ordered.

    mounts work great.

Notched the truck bed mount on the drivers side to fit the new mount.

Any reason I wouldn't be able to use these lower mounts? At 4.25" wide, I'm not sure if there would be enough space next to the U-Bolt.
