Finally replaced my 15 year old headlights!

Check out last week's photo (quoted above) vs. today's... and keep in mind that I had literally just polished and refinished my old headlamps before taking last week's photo. It was far worse before.

Side by side during the swap:

    Can you spot the difference?

Almost. Yes his taco looks new again but Headlights are just newer & still Shiney. He didn't do a mate model 2nd gen (2.5 swap). This is a late model 2nd gen aka 2.5gen. Notice the headlight shape

2.5 is 12-15. Only thing really different is the front is the front clip.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
Yesterday I “fabbed” a phone mount from1/8” aluminum flat bar and painted. Today it got mountedDCF9F41B-4E8B-4E37-9097-341BB187D9FC.jpg to the insert the front cup holders go in. Put a phone holder on it to hold the phone. Stable. We will see how it holds up mounted on plastic.

Changed my spark plugs. I’d say they were definitely due. I got the truck mid April and I usually try to change plugs after buying a used vehicle so I know they are done.

    like the tape idea....

big gaps....did it take a few cranks to start.....had that when plugs were due and they weren't close to those gaps.
