Installed mine today. 90º weather kinda sucked. Other than that it's an easy install. Took about an hour and a half.

I don’t ever use it. You got it right it’s way too slow so I just put my glasses/sunglasses there.

i'm in the middle of my install and i cannot for the life of me get the large plug where the door panel plugs into the window roll up and down buttons plugged back in. i've been battling it for 30 minutes...

Jesus, after a bunch of frustrated attempts and cuss words i figured it out. i wasn't pulling the rearward tab back far enough. that was a pain in the ass lol

Dude... I'm about to install mine. What's this "rearward tab" that made you say unholy words out loud!?! (I'm a little tentative)

How was going though the boots and putting the A-pillar back together?

Driver boot is the hardest part. Passenger side is easier. All in all, minimal skill involved.

basically on the driver side door when your re installing the larger white plug, you have to pull the outer sleeve of the plug back really far, while holding it back push the plug in and then push the sleeve in. best way i could describe it. i used a coat hanger to snake wires through the boot carefully without puncturing the boot. up at the a pillar now.

I was having the same issue till I figured out to pop off the switch (window/lock control) panel from the interior and you can access the tabs a lot easier!

I’ll be taking some night pics but it was an easy install! It took me about 3 hrs..I also used a “grabeasy” to help run the wires, it also helps to pay attention when re-installing...I couldn’t open my doors from the inside cause I didn’t reconnect everything correctly. And like I said in a previous post, it is hard to access the plug on the driver side door but it is so much easier to pop off the control panel from the interior and you can access the plugs. Great product and really happy with it! Thanks MESO, and now my curiosity is running with the “A” plug for future products? What does MESO have in mind?

It was easy, just take out the airbag and everything fits just perfect!

That's great man... looks good. Helping me build up my confidence.

The other plug is for the ULTIMATE TURN SIGNALS V5.0 (the current is v4.0).

Not sure if it's too late for you, but @MESO recommended you hide that plug in the side mirror housing so you don't have to take the mirror off again to access the connector if you decide to install the v5.

Oh, well it’s too late but still not too much trouble to access it. Thanks for the heads up!

I've still got to troubleshoot mine. When plugged into the harness in the A pillar. It blows a fuse which controls the AC and Windows. Been sent several A pillar adapters and still have the same problem. Anyone else experienced this issue? Had them installed for over a year. Decided to leave them unplugged. And need to figure out where the short lies. Guess I will just dismantle everything again and plug on one cable at a time. They work fine even after the fuse blows.

Whoever ordered the last one from runnin4tacos, I hate you. I had it in my cart for the past 5 days debating if I was capable of installing it. Was scrolling through this thread, saw someone mention that website, quickly went and check, and now it’s sold out.

You should have pulled the trigger once it hit your cart; you've had it for 4 days 23hrs 59mins too long sitting in the cart. :smack:

Just hooked up my switch. It’s properly grounded. The wires aren’t all black. It illuminates and auto works. When I turn “on” the puddles come on but very weak. Any ideas?
