Like bill said Rapidan is closest thing to you and would be a great spot to take your daughter. It's about a half hour from my house. Only requirement is a hunting/ fishing license or you can buy a day pass somewhere. I've never seen anybody checking though. @PyritePirateBill the trut fishing is supposed to be pretty good BTW. If you are wanting to do some mods to the truck I'm just in Culpeper and may even be able to convince Bill to swing by also. I need to find a detailed map for Rapidan it's pretty big and there are like three entrances. It would be nice to see all the routes through it.

Camp hosts here are pretty cool...camp has been full since mid afternoon. Two girls showed up about 7, circled, stopped at the host's site. They let them pitch their tent behind the host site in a grassy area. Biker pulled about an hour later. Same thing. Motorhome came in about 30 minutes ago and they let them park next to their own motorhome AND plug in to the electric. Hope they don't get in trouble for it but camping spots are in short supply down here with everything IN the park still closed.

Well, I am a vampire. I work overnight from 8pm to 4am, except on FRIDAY’s, when I work from 12noon to 4am. Been in the same line of work for 30 years and have about 2.5 years to go.

    Got my first 4x4 when I was 23, a 91 Nissan Hardbody. Since then, I have had a 79 CJ5, a 95 Defender 90, a 98 Tahoe, an 08 JK Unlimited Rubicon, and now, my 2020 Tacoma.

I am third generation Californian, but am itching to move. I have spent all of my adult life in public service. I was an EMT in South Central Los Angeles from 1987 to 1990. Since 1990, I have worked for a very large law enforcement agency and am currently a lieutenant in the same area I was an EMT.

I am married and have a 16 year old daughter who is a talented artist and a pretty decent softball player. The majority of my spare time for the past four years has been about travel softball and getting her into college. The old lady is a realtor.

In addition to 4x4’s, I also like cigars, WW2 history, lawnmowers and weather!

    Good morning friends,

Picked up 9’ dinghy (insert joke here), er a, tender (sounds like I have a mega yacht that way), Friday on my way home from work from another boat club member. He described it as “it doesn’t have any holes”. So here I am with another boat to get into working order. Wife didn’t care for the “well, it can turn into yard art...”

Yesterday, I and another two members, put in four 100lb moorings. This morning the back is like :argue:.

Good morning and Happy Flag Day! :oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:

Glad you’re feeling better. I hope you had a nice evening Bill.

Eh, a lot is allowed to slide, but it gets serious when you mention multiple condiments on a hot dog. :D
