Maybe some smoke translucent film you could remove if you didn't like the effect. Experiment. Just a thought.

Love it when folks think outside the box!
My graphics are the only thing that separates mine from the crowd. Still trying to come up with something that makes mine unique. :frusty:

Mine does. Even has a nifty button on the center console to turn it on and off.

The unfortunate thing is it's just being lazy. The cell phone has caused everyone to develop a new language. Just type it out, it won't hurt.
    Lol.....see, I just did it.

You obviously don't have a thumb that looks like a big toe.
Life lesson. Never put your thumb between a boulder and the bucket of a front end loader especially if you're not the one operating the loader! :frusty:
    Yeah it hurt!!!
Operator to me, "take off the glove!" Me to my buddy.
"Nope, don't want blood all over my Tacoma on the way to the EMERGENCY ROOM!"
    Yeah, we're still friends!

Considering this head unit down the line. Any glitches? Love how it sits and almost looks like a stock unit.

    A growing list of stuff
Good work. Most people don't think about deadening their panels. It helps a lot, especially with the thinner plastic that door panels are made of today.

Try adding a layer of thin carpet (trunk liner) over the sound deadening on the back sides of the doors. It helps dampen them as well. Different frequencies are absorbed by different materials. We used to do that on all of our high powered installs at my shop. Also, there is no need for a fuse at the amp. That should just be the proper amperage one as per JL spec under the hood within 18" or less from the battery terminal.
