Then walk outside to a cool fresh 47 degrees.
And the smell of fresh manure that was spread yesterday.

Happy to be here. Excited that there people in this group that aren’t dead.

With my wife being full on coon-azz (Cajun),
In the fall we usually do several chicken and sausage or shrimp and sausage gumbos. Be a good time to have a wrenching party or something.

Good morning,

Little one was up at 6ish and is now taking her morning nap

I sometimes forget how much energy it takes to "follow" a 1 year old .... Thankfully on my 2nd cup of coffee and made it through the AM shift

Easy part is , she is now attempting "our food" instead of that they call baby food... Mango oatmeal & english muffins this AM.... For some reason Con says I can NOT give her coffee

Good morning all, @TacoGrinder it was 46 hear as well at 0630 when walking the boys. Another beautiful day here until about 1600 when the afternoon storms roll in. got a lot done around the property yesterday, going to split wood today then work on more raising the canopy as we continue our mitigation efforts. Have a great Flag Day everyone.

It was just so funny that @4x4cajun and I were talking back & forth, back & forth. And then Andy just pops in and says "talk to Chris".I know he meant no disrespect, but the timing was so epic & funny (to me anyway)

No, not really.

I'm not a huge fan of boats or hanging around the river with the crowds and all that, but I like when I'm working near it and being able to go there and relax especially when nobody else is there.

 

I tend to do that, you will get used to it.

 

Spent 50th bd downhill mtn biking at Winterpark. Made everyone who couldn’t beat me down the mtn wear a plaid school-girl skirt. Next sep plan on doing the same thing when 60 rolls around. Life’s awesome, except for taking a bit longer to recognize the face that I just shaved. It ain’t the pace of life that’s concerning, just the sudden stop at the end but I’ll handle that when it arrives. Whenever it that may be.
