EXTERIOR: Raptor Spray-on Bedliner, Custom NRT Off Road decals, Chase Rack with Offroad Lights, Fog Lights, Bed Lights, Rear Bumper Lights, Rago Bed Stiffeners, T1A Metal Door Handles, 7-Pin Trailer Connector, Switchback front turn signals, LED tail lights, License Plate Lights Shutoff For Backup Camera. INTERIOR: Android Head Unit with OBD2, Dash Camera, Backup Camera, TPMS, and Hands Free Microphone, Rockville SS8P Subwoofer, Remote Door Locks with Automatic Window Close, RFID Kill Switch, Custom Switch Panel, Hands Free Phone Mount, All LED lights LED, Ignition Light Ring, A pillar two gauge pod with VC-50 Meth Injection Controller and NRT Branded Oil Pressure gauge, Torque Pro App for Gauges (Wideband Air/Fuel, Water Temp, Trans Temp, MAF, Volts, Timing, Engine Load, Intake Temp, Throttle Position, Fuel Status - shows open or closed loop, Instant MPG.)
I just got through installing these two items on my 2001 Tacoma. I thought I would share my installation with everyone. I wanted keyless entry especially since the door locks are already electronically activated with the key. I looked at a lot of options before I chose the one I did.
There are 2 pieces for the way I installed it, one for the keyless entry and the second for the window close on lock feature.

This possibly will work on all first gen Tacomas as long as it has electric door locks and the window up feature needs your truck to have electric windows. wire colors I can only verify for 2001 models, other years may have different wiring. 4 door models will need the 4 window version, Omega AU-93-4 for the Omega window up module, the AU-93 I link to only works for 2 windows.

    Keyless Entry: Banvie Model KS020
    https://www.amazon.com/BANVIE-4-Button-Controllers-Electrical-Pneumatic/dp/B07L4LTXSK
The premium features of this unit:
Can be wired to automatically lock the doors when driving and unlock when stopped.
    Optional Window close compatibility.
Inline fuses for both the 12v constant and window lock wires.
The remotes are really nice, the key ring hole and chrome portion is metal, not plastic.
If you had and electric tailgate latch it could be wired to lock and unlock using the trunk wire and button.

Here is a modified Tacoma Specific Wiring Diagram for the keyless entry that I made from the one that comes with the Banvie kit. You can see small 'X's on wires you don't use.

All of the wire connections you need for the keyless entry can be found behind the bottom trim panel under the steering wheel behind and above the Body ECU / Fuse box.

Window Close (optional): Omega AU-93 Window Roll Up Module
    https://www.amazon.com/Omega-Au93L-Window-Module-Excalibur/dp/B01E55TAUQ

This unit is installed with a lot of car alarm installation. This one can only open or close 2 windows, I use it to close my windows when I lock my car. I have on too many occasions locked my doors realizing I left my windows open and had to turn the key to the on position just to roll up the windows. It also has an inline fuse forthe power wire.

Here is a modified Tacoma Specific Wiring Diagram for the window module that I made from the one that comes with the Omega kit.For the window close module, additional to the power, ground which connect the same as the Banvie unit, there is a signal wire that connects to the keyless entry directly and most daunting, you will need to open up the drivers door panel and cut 2 wires and connect 4 wires from the module to the 2 cut wires shown in this photo. This was easier than I thought it would be.

Hopefully this will be helpful to someone looking for keyless entry

Can you disable the window close function? There are times when I want to leave the windows cracked to minimize heat build up.

The best place to turn off the roll up window module would be to put a switch on the orange wire that connects to the red trigger wire from the Banvie Keyless entry. Everything should still work except for the window not closing when the keyless lock button is pressed.
I updated the AU-93 wiring diagram in the original post to show the optional switch.

I just received the Banvie kit and had a couple of questions.
    Where/what is @J/B?
Did you use quick slices to connect to wires?

Update: I was able to get the locks hooked up, before the rain came. My truck is a 2002, so the red/yellow did not work for the unlock. I had to hook the white/black wire up to the purple wire instead. Now to get the lights hooked up. It's a great mod for only $16.00.

It's from the Toyota wiring manual, J/B=Junction Block Number One, which is under the steering wheel next to the door.

The splices can be soldered, or use T Tap Electrical Connectors found at your local auto parts store. I like the Posi-Tap style connectors that pierce the wire insulation with a sharp pin.
