Looking up the plunger and contacts right now. Part numbers I've found for the 3.4L starter:

    Plunger Magnet Switch
    Part Number: 28235-55050

This is listed as the motor side terminal. Yes, they spelled "Service" incorrectly @BartMaster1234
    Kit Repair Seavice
    Part Number: 28226-74070

These are the battery terminal side. Not sure what the difference is on these 2 so don't know which one I need or if they are essentially the same.
    Starter Kit
    Part Number: 28226-16130

    Or

    Kit Repair Service
    Part Number: 28226-22050

That's a good price for a 2018 with the factory mods like that. I have all the same shit on my 2015.

I took a test drive for a modded Impreza wrx. Got it to 70 with the guy. and during the whole drive i said "something doesn't sound right man, I'm hearing a metal rasp" he says "yea it does that, no worries" needless to say the turbo let go i turned it off and he had a very confused look on him. Needless to say I'm sticking clear of Subarus.

They wanted out of that thing pretty quickly huh? Can't be a year old yet? Just for full context, what did they buy and what was purchase price?

Even though folks get the 3 yr warranty when buying Rover, most owners still get too frustrated that their vehicle is needing warranty work as often as they do.

Was actually going to tag you with that SUV.

They're repeat customers of ours, a couple that are always happy to see me and talk cars.

It's an '18 and it was hardly driven as they have a ranch; traded in for a JL Rubicon.

The husband has 2 FJ45's, and is on the lookout for an old Scout to restore.

One of his FJ's is all upfitted with an exocage, locked, etc. The other is all stock as he was showing me pics.

They figured the new Jeep will be much more comfortable since only his kids are into rock crawling and all that stuff; they go to King of the Hammers and other off road events with their tricked out toys.

Neither of those. I've never done or needed to do brushes or even bearings on any of the Densos I've rebuilt. I mean you can, but I'd just leave those parts as they came from factory. I'm not sure if there is a Toyota specific part numbered kit for the parts either. Quick search on Amazon got me this:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0031HL09E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_TcM5Eb6HFGDFX
There may be others, this was simply the first one I found that contained the correct contacts. Looks to come with additional contacts but you won't need them on that 3.4 starter.
