Was jsut at Toyoata.com figuring a 2011 Tacoma TRD and it reads:

(OF) TRD OFF-ROAD PACKAGE - Includes off-road-tuned suspension, Bilstein® shocks, unique 18-in. alloy wheels with P275/65R18 BFGoodrich® tires, fog lamps (Standard on Limited models), manual sliding rear window with privacy glass (Regular Cab models only), engine (4X2 models only) and fuel tank skid plates, front tow hooks (4X2 models only), TRD Off-Road Package graphic and Tow Package (Excluding Limited & Regular Cab Models)

I have 16" on my 2008 TRD Off Road and what to know why they made the change or it's a typo...?

Must be a mistake. 18" rims on a 4x4 is like a screen door on a submarine.

Not if you have a big tire to compensate. A 275-65 is not what i'd call an "off-road" tire though. Now maybe a... 315-75-18. Thatd be nice. :D

I had to choose "TRD OR with Additional Options" instead of just "TRD OR extra value package, then the 18" wheels showed up

Hmm...the pics of the wheels between the options don't look different. This could be interesting.

Hmm, changed the zip code to 90210 and now the 18" wheels show up. Appears to be a clerical error on the Toyota site. The text copies the Tundra TRD OR package verbatim.

Unless it comes lifted, that's a 32" tire size. Doubt it's possible without rubbing. Thats more likely a tundra option.

Mine came with 17" rims but I changed out to 18" wheels and a 3" lift....It has to be a typo or aftermarket job if it comes with 18" wheels.... Oh yeah this truck will spend about 40,000 miles off the pavement driving per year I'm sure glad I was warned ahead of time that my wheels won't work offroad.....:D

Some Tacomas can be outfitted with 18" wheels depending on location.
