    Looking for whats available before I buy new. The internal ribbon cable wore out and separated on mine (probably for crappy alignment shops positioning my wheel in the wrong spot)

    I just replaced mine with a Chinese version from Ebay. The fit was perfect. I think it was $26 bucks.

    Count the electrical contacts. The newer ones had 3 contacts and the earlier versions had 4. As long as the number of contacts are the same, it will work.

    The only thing I can remember is a 1998 will not work in a 2004 even though they both have CC.
