Sorry all my screwy friends for my absence, but ya'll were starting to affect my mind. I had to take a break. I've been fishing quite a few times, or maybe I should call it sitting by the water enjoying being outside again. The fishing has been lousy. I usually catch something worth keeping when bank fishing, but not this year. but I did catch one Black Crappie I should have kept and ate, but I didn't really feel like messing with just one, so I let him go. Here's a pic.thumbnail_IMG_0157.jpg

Went boat fishing today for the first time in +15 years, but we didn't catch anything worth keeping. My boat captain was unfamiliar with (Tucker Town) reservoir, so it was more like a day out on the water killing time. I had a blast. Now everyone knows what my old ugly ass looks like, shit, no more being invisible.

Sorry to hear of your loss. My dad died in 2018. We took him into his room, said goodnight, and found him in a kneeling position the next morning. I had the strangest feeling that night, that he was going to die, he just had that I'm exhausted and ready to go look on his face. He was a hard man growing up, and a pain to deal with at times. But like you said, he's in a better place.

    :notsure:

Lucky for me, I've never faced a choice like in the poll.
But if it were something serious, yeah your ass is getting turned in.

    Story time.

At my Club, PA Game Commission officers come to membership meetings pretty much every month.
They explain new policies, regulations, etc, and answer questions.
I was on good terms with them.

At the same time I knew of several poachers at the Club.
These guys were poor and didn't waste anything.
In my opinion, some things should be winked at.
Now, if they were, for example, killing bears to sell their gall bladders to the Chinese...I'd have turned them in immediately.

For a while there was a dumping problem in the State Forest on one particular road.
I happened one day to walk past a couple garbage bags, and one was torn open.
The asshole's pay stubs were in there.

Yeah, I dropped a dime on that guy. Told the Rangers where to look.

Glad to hear that you're doing well.
I had to be careful with my hernia for a while, but now it's like it never happened.

    Sorry about your Dad.
If you live long enough, there are many such losses.

We used to poach deer in South Texas when I was in high school. Finding a place to hunt was nearly impossible. Spot light and a .22 did the job every time. We only shot does, and always during the winter months. We finally got caught one night, I was a minor and was let off easy. My Brother and another guy had to pay a really small fine. This was back around 1972. When we went to the Game wardens office the next day to pick up our firearms, my .22 was still loaded. the only thing missing was a nice hunting knife, but we didn't make a big deal out of it.

Well crap, I have this weird shit that happens right before a Migraine headache. My vision goes blurry, and what I call floaters go across my vision. Makes reading and writing posts impossible, since I can't see what I'm typing. going to take some Advil and lay down for a while, Be back later, hopefully cured of my current problem.
