If you are willing to wait a few months there will likely be a LOT of used bikes for sale. Covid caused a huge increase in sales nationwide, and I would imagine the lightly used market will be flooded soon. As far as price range, think of it like a cooler. The $150 bike is going to be a lot like a basic cheap plastic Igloo..probably break in a year, repairs costing almost what you paid, so it'll end up in the trash. Good luck on the hunt!

Just installed the RCI bedrack bike mount!

 

Although it's not nearly as pretty or fancy as a good portion of the bikes here, I finally get to share it! I've never owned a high quality bike. Always had crap $40 bikes. I bought this Giant less than a week ago and already put about 60+ miles on it. I'm loving the smooth ride and that it actually shifts properly!

when you go, park at Rattlesnake Lake. Then take the John Wayne Pioneer Trail up to Olallie Trail Head. Can’t miss it (on the right). Just keep in mind you’ll be dodging 80 billion hikers and wannabe hikers until you get to Olallie. Fortunately those bastards don’t dare venture on to Olallie lest they get ran over or pummel to there deaths as they jump off the trail. Lmao
