    Pre-Rona you could occasionally get Hesco L210 Lvl IIIA+ special threat plates for like 240 for a set. They won't officially defend against M80 ball (too much backface deformation, apparently?), but they stop just about everything coming out of a standard frame AR or AK47/74. And if you were to get some soft armor plates to put behind them you'd perhaps be ok for an impact or two of 308? They are thin and relatively light as well. I think maybe 5lbs apiece?

    Meh. 300 blackout is too expensive to frequently train with. Agree that it's way better supressed since it's actually viable when subsonic.

    5.56 out of an 11.5" is fine, mil and leo use it frequently.

    If you're still concerned you can train with training 5.56 and get sbr specific ammo when it's defensive time. Zeros may differ but it won't be hard to compensate for.

    I went to Factoria West Coast today to get some lead vitamins and the shelf of new hardware is nearly GONE.
    There is some fancy wall art but thats about it!

    I waited in line to get in and everyone in front of me didn't have masks nor were they required to get in.

    I've had a lot of first time buyers the last few months. I tell every one of them they have the RIGHT to buy anything they want, but they also have the RESPONSIBILITY to learn how to safely use it, and when to use it when that might not be safe for the recipient.....

    But the right comes first, the responsibility second. I'll never agree that the responsibility comes first, superseding the right.....

    Anybody have any recommendations for cerakote? I want my glock slide done. Got quoted 100 bucks from a place in everett and a 3-4 week lead time. Obviously don't want to be with out my carry for that long
