About 2 blocks from where I lived. Went and walked around there on Friday - reminded me of the Occupy Wall Street scene that I used to walk past all the time... Lots of low-qualified slacker 20-something white kids smoking dope, thinking about what ink they should get to memorialize the event, and pontificating about what a perfect World would be (although they don't know $hit about the World and still rely on their Parents).

Why is your bike on the ground with a perfectly good work stand sitting beside it? *shocked* ;)

Saturday was my first ride with the G-form knee pads and honestly I didn't even realize they were there. My legs felt no hotter, nor bothered by the pads. I did notice the top band rolled down a little after I stopped and checked, but I didn't feel it on the trail. I think I'd still like a smaller pair, that doesn't go so far down my calves, but these are comfortable and do the job. Have a feeling I'll get a full test of them this weekend at Pisgah..

oh and @levie125 I did Dummy Line finally and loved it! it's climbable, but a little above my skill/cardio level right now. Down it was a ton of fun though. technical goodness, some rock rolls and such. I enjoyed the heck out of it.

That brings a tear of joy to my eye! I love that trail. Perfect combination of short, sweet and a little rowdy.

It's going to be hard to decide between it and Bankhead (RMAD) to get back down to the land trust lol

No uphill traffic, at all, coming up Dummy line = winning in my book.

Weird KMC chain issue this weekend, not stoked about it. Sent them a warranty inquiry

I've had bad luck with KMC Chains, I don't run them any more.

this is true, rare for anyone to be coming up Dummy Line other than the occasional biker. Bankhead has a lot of up traffic since it's smoother, but that means it also flows better going down lol

Shit, wish I could say weeks...

Same. Only do OE chains matched to drivetrain. I typically go for the highest model too (XTR, X01), it's a moderate price increase ($25) over a long lifespan. I've found those chains to be more reliable and smoother, often quieter.

Does anyone in here have an extra tailgate pad, or one that they don't want anymore? looking at getting one, and wouldn't mind a used one for cheaper.
