Whatever

I've killed a couple, always wanted to mount one but the 30-06 tore them up to bad. I saw one once that was half red and half gray, beautiful but I had a .270 short mag with me and figured there would be few pieces remaining so it got a pass.

 

Yeah, a large caliber tears them up pretty bad, underneath all that hair there's not a lot there. I give foxes and bobcats a pass, although 'back in the day' I shot a few 'cats with my bow. Nowdays I'd rather watch them do their thing. Coyotes on the other hand.......

 

I shot a raccoon going up a tree once with my bow when I was young. Hit it in the back of the head. Took it home and put it in the freezer, my mom the next day said "why is there a raccoon with an arrow in it in the freezer?". I wound up throwing it out.

 

They stick out farther than I though

Think this was my best option for keeping a stock tire on it , but heavy enough I don’t have to worry about running over shit at them fishin holes

 

And don’t need to paint my drums and rotors
