I'm confident that one of us will set up another trip for September. I'm not sure what events REEB will still have this year, but timing it with one of their fall events may be a decent option. Their ranch is at the base of the entrance to Dupont, so we'll likely always hit most of the same trails you would if you camped in the ranch itself.

I heard that Reeb Ranch got sold which is why it hasn't been open.

We just finished Upper Black and down Avery. It's riding so well right now.

I went by there on the way to DuPont last weekend, it’s for sure not being used. Very overgrown etc.

Weather is improving gents! Shows clear skies all day Saturday now!

EBikes are not allowed in Pisgah. But I’ve seen plenty of them out there unfortunately.

Do you adjust your shocks often with this?

only adjustments I have and do are the compression on the fork and the rebound on the shock. Just not sure exactly what anything else does lol

Well guys I’m sorry to do this but Ive been in Massachusetts and planned on heading back to Virginia today but wasn’t feeling well and decided not to make the drive. I’m gonna have to back out since it would be about 14+hours down to Pisgah from here

Ebikes are for the elderly or handicapped. But It doesn’t surprise me that people use them in Pisgah, it’s a challenging place and not everyone can deal with it

Got my spare derailleur hanger Saturday morning from the LBS, and talked to one of the guys there.

me - "you ever been to Pisgah?"
him - "yeah it's one of my favorite places to ride"
me - "that's why I'm getting this spare hanger, going there next weekend"
him - "oh that's smart, you're going to need it"

Hey boys. Does't look like I'm going to be able to make it. Went on a bike path ride yesterday, still lots of pain. No way I can do trails.
Hopefully next year. Have a great time!
