    UPDATE
Recommend everyone plan on everyone bring enough food for the whole weekend. I had planned on us grabbing lunches/dinners out but with COVID restrictions in place, some of the places I had planned for us may be tough to get us all in. Sierra Nevada for instance is still take-out only. Oscar Blues is requiring masks and parties cannot be larger than 6. I expect we will still be able to grab dinner and lunch out but want everyone to be prepared to be self sufficient if need be.

As far as schedule. I will be up there and ready to ride on Friday morning, planning to meet at Kitsuma around 10 or 11 depending on who will be in town by then. Will probably grab lunch in Asheville then head to camp to drop gear, set up tents(for those with ground tents etc), and check in with camp host. Would like to get another ride in Friday afternoon, trail TBD.

Saturday we will have breakfast at camp, then can head over to DuPont to ride Ridgeline and Big Rock/Cedar. Grab lunch then ride some combination of Buckhorn/Bennett/Avery/Black/Sycamore.

I'll have 4 bike racks on my truck so we can plan to shuttle most of these trails, but for those who want to ride Middle/Lower Black, there's really not much shuttling, you have to earn it up Clawhammer.

We can talk about this more and plan our day around the camp fire Friday night. Sunday morning, for those that are not hitting the road first thing, we can ride Trace Ridge or Bent Creek

Man that food situation puts a damper on things lol. We can pick up take out and eat at camp? I was game for that, wouldn't even care if it's the same restaurant over and over haha.
I just really don't want to bring food for every meal, too much thinking then.

I plan to leave early Friday morning and probably get there lunch time-ish, can meet wherever that day.

Yeah, I get it, and I am still planning to go to Oscar Blues maybe for lunch when it's less crowded, we can just split in to two groups etc. and the BBQ place by the Hub is open so we can hit that too. I just want people to be prepared if places are really busy or something. You can for sure just get Fast Food.

I'm game for fast food, to avoid packing food...

also...is anyone going concerned with the covid stuff to where we need to socially distance, not shake hands, and whatnot? I'm not concerned, but will respect if someone else is.

Yeah I'm not planning to bring food for every meal, prob will just throw a pack of hot dogs in the cooler with my beer just in case.

Being from Alabama, I didn't think you would be concerning with COVID. That intermarrying and pure family blood lines makes for some strong immune systems I'd imagine. #rolltide

Joking aside, dont spit in my beer but I've been shaking hands normally etc. but also will respect anyone else who wants to stay 6' away.

oh yeah I thought we were all "pitching tents" as one big happy family the Alabama way...tough to read meanings online...guess that changes things.

haha just making sure, like shuttling....one truck takes all the bikes and then we all drive separately lol

Oh yeah, I dont know, I'll have 4 bike racks and 4 seats open in my truck. We can leave the windows open to let out the covid and sweat stank.

The Hub has a daily food truck but space at the bar patio area is limited. However, you can probably just set up a table at the Hub parking lot and eat there. The taco joint down the street is also open (I forgot the name of the place). Hawg Wild (directly across from The Hub) is also open for take out and dine in (although the seating is limited for social distancing).

I was planning to be self-sufficient for most meals. Though I was planning take-out for at least one dinner. I did take-out from the bbq place across from the Hub last November and it was edible. I think they even have a drive through. Would be cool if Magpie meat and three had take-out.

I've been on the cautious end of the spectrum when it comes to the Covid situation. Been working from home since March 13th. I'll be keeping up with most the protocols because - why not? I've been doing it this long. Lately that means take-out only if we were going to go out to eat. And if we hang out with the friends/neighbors its basically beers in the cul-de-sac.

Yeah the BBQ place is fair, nothing amazing, but I figured we would pick that up for lunch or dinner on Saturday.

Side note, any of you who do not already have my number PM me and I'll send it over. And if anyone has a GMRS radio let me know and we can agree on a channel for the weekend.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
