Much taller! You going to cut everything to install them, and/or regear?

What did you end up going with? I’m too lazy to go back and look for it.

Well they fit... barely! No rub on the drive home. Once I start stuffing these suckers are going to get chewed up.

yeah i will say they were VERY MUCH quieter on the road and they felt smooth! Not too many companies make a 285 75 17. maxxis site shows this size is a 34.2" tire.

I was looking at the Maxxis RAZR tires. They make a true 33" 285 70 17 MT rated for 40k miles. But they didnt have the 285/75/17 so i went with the buckshot

I don't notice the road noise as much with my pros, but maybe I just assumed it was going to be loud.

I’ll end up back with 285-70/17’s once I wear these Yoko’s out. They’re 295-70’s. I’m not sure what tire just yet as there’s a ton of good options.

The unemployment system we have in this state sucks. I filed a claim when I first got laid off but did not request a payment at that time. We wanted to spend my time working on things around the house rather than trying to apply for jobs. Well, all that’s done now, so I requested a payment. Apparently the system doesn’t like it when there’s a gap larger than 3 weeks between the claim date and a payment request. So for two weeks now I’ve been calling the number the website gave me. 100+ calls a day and zero connections.

    I’m ready for a job...

    End of rant.

Excellent question. In my previous career I began as an electrical/mechanical technician servicing downhole tooling for a big O&G player. I worked myself into the Team Lead role where I lead 40+ team members and took care of everything they needed. Finally, I had earned the position of Electrical Engineer based on my knowledge and years of experience.
Short answer, I’m good at fixing things and helping people.

Bell and Lockheed are always hiring. If you find a position at Bell that you qualify for and appeals to you, let me know.
