Yep, my mom always made it this way for us and if my dad wasn't around we'd add in chopped pecans. Called it "good salad".

I used to be the same way. Iceberg, tomato, cheese, croutons, other vegggies with Ranch and French salad dressings mixed.

Hated all the other cold salads. Then, someone brought over some potato salad that changed.my.life. I still dont care for egg salad, but ham, chicken, tuna, all that stuff, well.....toast me up some Texas Toast and slap some on there. Shits fire.



I'm not a fan of cottage cheese, although I like it sparingly with some fresh pineapple or a perfect sliced tomato with a dash of salt and plenty of fresh cracked pepper.



Give me the devil's lettuce, and I'll pretty much eat anything though.

Mini bell peppers
Crap tons of pepper, paprika, some celery salt and mayo

Would have also been great with a little diced up cheddar but we didn't have any when I made it.

get a bunch of redskin potatoes, wash, precook in microwave, marinate in yer favorite home brew mix, finish em off on the grill..

 

Home brew mix = water...

nah, try Italian salad dressing , put em in a big bowl, swirl em around for a good while, put em on the outside edges of duh grill, rotate em don't burn em
