I wish more manufacturers made tires this size. Im just not willing to move to a MT.

I love my 6112/5160 combo with Icon add a leaf. Much more comfortable than the stock suspension on my sport.

I'm still a few years out waiting for my warranty to expire, but I'm also looking into a 1" lift. It's hard to search for it on Tacoma World so I was resorting to reading the bulk 5100 or 6112 to threads. I'm leaning towards one of these because I don't want to spend $$$,nor do I think I need one of the more expensive coilovers options from King, etc.

Like the OP I don't want to go bigger than 265/75 I have on the taco now. 1" lift would be perfect for that size.

Changing your suspension does not void your warranty btw. And it's unlikely you would ever need your springs and shocks replaced under warranty.

Correct, its the Magnuson-Moss law if anyone wants to look it up.

    No warranty concerns here

Old man emu also has a good kit for the tacomas, I'd add them into the mix to look into

I have considered finding a pro suspension takeoff. I believe it gives around 1.75" of lift to offroad models

My truck with 6112/5160 and AAL netting 2" of lift. It settled a bit in the last year or so.

Pro has an alleged 1" up front and nothing in the rear. Not cheap though.

    I just did 5100 and OME 885 coils+aal+1/4" spacer.
Got 1.8" lift at all 4 corners after a few miles. Expecting to settle a bit more.
The truck drives much much better compare to the stock, more planted on the road over bumps and road irregularities.

Yeah, there aren't many and most are E load. I have Cooper ST Maxx, which is an aggressive AT. They have got a little louder as they have aged, but they have been great. I like them enough that I will probably buy them again.

The ST Maxx seems like the best option available (never used them personally) I'm pretty loyal to my Falken AT3w's though. Best tire I've ever used, Which has been a bunch

I've never run the Falkens, but I have run quite a few AT and MT tires. These have been really good in everything except wet asphalt, which is the same with every aggressive tire I have used. I have had them on everything from snow to rocks and they have not let me down. Will buy again.

You can get the 6112/5160 combo for about the same price as just the used front pro suspension.

I believe it. The Cooper at3's are my second favorite. I trust Cooper to make a good tire.

Does anyone know if the 6112's handle washboard roads better than the 5100's?

Washboards were the first test after my upgrade and it does a LOT better than stock. I think that washboards are the worst on the rear of these trucks though, if the bed is unloaded anyway. The rear with the 5160s is a much more planted, but I also have a Dakar pack on. That is compared to stock though, not 5100s. I can tell you the 6112s are much beefier than the 5100s with more oil capacity.

Hey mccool, I drive a 4 Runner now, but when I was active on here I had a 2015 Sport, it was a cool truck. I lifted it exactly as you are wishing. I used a TRD Pro kit, and an ICON progressive AAL in the back. I pulled a two horse trailer with it, mainly, and the suspension was excellent. It probably had about 1 3/4” of lift, and that is a perfect amount for a Tacoma, imho. It’s really in scale for the vehicle and it retains its tremendous high speed drivability and doesn’t become ungainly and lose it’s centre of balance.

Thank you sir! This is one of the kits I've looked into. And I agree, 1.5" ish is the perfect look in my opinion. Retaining reliability and on road drivability are critical to us.
