Funday Sunday involved removing my RTT, bedrack, and softopper. Followed by installing my Expedition Essentials 2TPAM so I can mount my Icom head unit and a tablet to. Firestone Ride-Rite air bags, Daystar cradles. Finished the day off with a good scrub and hand waxing since I ran out of wash-n-wax. Need to detail the interior and cut some kydex for my Icom head unit mount to keep it protected from UV's.

Yeah...they ended up being pretty terrible light output. ended up putting in 55w LED's, i know that's normally a no-no for halogen projectors but the cutoff is very defined and adjusted plenty low, and based on multiple tests and night drives already, hasn't seemed too bright or been flashed once yet.

How big a piece did you end up getting? And what did it run? I found a place local that has 48” x 96” .25 sheets for $67. Figure I only need a pice about 20”x56” or so.

Yeah, I’m more or less the same haha. I have been considering whether a low bed rack would be a happy medium - still gain somewhat the look of a truck, no lockable storage of-course but some versatility of the rack.

Nice and yeah, storing it for the wet winter would be my plan.

On another note, I love the way your truck sits! Are they 265/75 tires, which look to be on about a 17” rim? I’m stock at the moment but previous trucks I’ve had 265/75/r16’s with 2” of lift looking to do a similar thing now, but would be interested to know what you’re running? Cheers

    Same crap everyone else got
They are 265 70r17 duratracs on FN FX Pro wheels. O offset 4.5 BS. 5100's set at 0 with 885 springs and a deaver 1in single leaf rear add a leaf. I'll need to get a whole leaf pack for the rear soon b/c the shell caused the stock springs with the aal to sag. I added a front bumper and winch so the 885's will probably sag too so I'll probably swap out to some 886 springs. I think the wheels give the tires a little wider stance but not too aggressive, just enough to have a little poke out of the wheel well.
Not a great pic but you get the idea.

Just a small mod. Been debating for awhile. Removed the Toyota badge on tailgate. Didn’t expect it to be plastic. Came off easy. Replacing my nerf bars that came with the truck. Since I don’t do any serious rock climbing, went with the Go Rhino DSS Dominators—-if they ever get here. DW wanted a step. I want to get rid of most of the chrome.

Big mod day, installed my "as seen on TV" Drop Stop thingy's in between the seats and center console:

More for my wife. She constantly drops her phone in between the seat and it gets lost underneath.

Mine was already cut up so it was roughly around 30" x 60" .25 sheet. It ran me about $35. When I finished the panel I noticed it was rubbing at the bottom where it meets the bottom the truck bed. I beveled it to a 45° and it shut perfectly fine. Also cut the rubber tailagate stops in half. Pretty simple process just trial and error.
