TACO GARAGE - TRD Pro grilles (and garnishes)

I got the alert on the 8th that my order from the 27th had shipped out... the tracking information has updated, the package was dropped off at UPS on the 28th, probably a good idea to see if your order did in fact make it in that batch.

 

Finally got my grill in today from my order on the 22nd. Unfortunately it came with a paint defect on the top of the grill. Also my raptor lights were forgotten in the package. Anyways, I got in touch with TACO GARAGE about it and we are doing a grill exchange since this one wasn't the condition I was expecting. Excellent customer service.

 

Honestly not to sure about the headlights figured they were stock. They were on there When I bought the truck. Only thing I did was add HID to them. Also quick note I did the raptor light install super easy. Click the lights into place on grille. Connect the wire to an add a fuse and plug it into fuse box and done. I would look it up on youtube I saw a few good ones which led me to know where to plug it.

 

The color of the silver Tacoma letters that came on my grille were a much different shade than OEM. I ended up having to order a set from another Tacoma Parts supplier many of us are familiar with to correct it. Bothered me just enough..

My grille will be arriving soon, unfortunetly I will have to wait about a month or more to get it on the truck as I am out of country. Hope I get decent colored letters and no issues.

 

Anyone know why caliraised grille is so much more expensive?

 

Got my grille today..... didnt include the raptor lights I ordered... so after a month wait for shipping I’ve got to go about getting that part of my order. Great.

Do the letters come off? I want to paint them.

 

They appear to be screwed on and come pre-installed. Havent tried to remove em. I went ahead and used vinyl decals so i can go back to OEM look later

Where did you get the vinyl stickers? Runfortacos is out of stock along with everything else.

 

Stupid question, is the TSS Garnish just a peel and stick ?

 

From TVDVinylDecals on etsy. They dont cover the entire letter but look great

 

No TSS Garnish is a plastic cover. It clicks in and also has something like lock washers

 

When will these be back in stock? Tried to place an order today but all sold out...

 

I guess I should say the taco garage's aftermarket TSS garnish for their pro grille lmao I didn't see any hardware.. I saw a sticky pad where the TSS is, and then the garnish which had 1 side sticky which I assumed stuck to the grill lmao

 

My garnish was that way too and they sent me a new one. It probably came apart during shipping.

 

Could have fooled me, I thought it was supposed to be that way. ooooooof now I'm a little more frustrated if not, becuase I also didn't get my raptor lights.
