Brooks is a big running shoe company. I’ve had to go to eBay to find new in box examples of the shoes I’ve become quite fond of. the Nike free Rn 2017 / 2018s as they feel like walking on clouds. Nothing current compares. I have 2 brand new pairs of Reebok and NB that were supposed to be similar but haven’t measured up. I did just try a pair of Allbirds that were pretty damn close.

It was pretty hard in there today.

I also bought the ECGS bushing tool and axle seal

 

That's a fun one. I hated putting in the ECGS bushing.... Make sure you have a race driver.

 

The 'Murican ones are now my "old" ones.

I do have to have my shoe laces untwisted though

 

My work provides free steel toes once a year, so those become my everyday foot wear.

The guys that are helping me do the lift have all the stuff needed.

 

My recommendation, take the whole spindle off. Trying to hit the race driver with a mini sledge with only 3 inches of swing space sucked. Also trying to hold the driver while swinging almost ended up with me breaking my finger on several missed swings.

 

These guys have done the lift/install before. I'm just gonna let them handle it. I've never messed with suspension. I may not even need it since I'm only going 2" of lift, but I figured might as well.

 

I'm confused. I thought there was a tool that pulled the bushing into the diffy housing?

 

My Tundra has had the bad needle bearing for 4 years. I just turn up the radio.

kev never mail you the loaner one phil? and when you doing the lift? curious to see how hard it will be to do myself.

 

I just figured it got lost. The videos make it seem doable.

 

hmmm. i kind of forgot about replacing that part when i lifted. luckily i still have some time before i cry and buy the ADS lift. crossing my fingers for next month.

Later this week hopefully the trucks getting tinted and im going to buy a powertray setup.

 

Plot twist. He bought some shoes. This should put him months behind on the trailer build though.
