The TSS sensor is moved to the bottom of the grill (see image in my previous post). So if I mount the camera below the TOYOTA logo and possibly block a small portion of the sensor.

I wouldn't block any part of the sensor, I would think you would just be asking for issues. It looks like above the logo would be a good choice. Add a shim so you can point it down a bit.

Thanks. I'll look at that tonight before I start wiring things up. I won't get the TSS cover for another two weeks....due to backorders.

Check that I guess I do not need the TSS cover.

Install it under the Toyota logo it won’t interfere with your TSS

Well, I may have misunderstood you. The grille looks great but where I mounted the camera is absolute :deadhorse:. Not sure how I can shim it to point down (as of now it's point about 5' up and to the sky, that ain't gonna work). I love WHERE its at, but there's no way to shim this as the bolt itself will still pull the camera up.

I have washers I can use, cut in half, elongate the hole a bit and shim opposite sides to get it to point DOWNWARD where it needs to go. Otherwise, I have to find another spot and fill the hole I created with a plug of some kind. I didn't think this through clearly.

Well, I cannot get a drill bit in there. If you want to share that idea let me know. This grill does not have the TSS cover, do I need it?

Also, I supposed I could plug the hole I made with something....

I drilled from the outside, you’ll need to shave off some plastic on the inside of your grill to allow the camera threads to fit properly. yes you will need the garnish

Crap. Ok, I have to re-order the garnish.

Secondly, even if I chip away at plastic, the stem is too short for this space.

Ok to be sure....I have to drill from the inside down. I don't think I have enough room but I can try. I will cut some pieces out.

Also, I now have a hole on the top of my grill. What do you suggest to plug it with? Or I could always put a USMC emblem there. LOL.

The clips that they use to hold the grill on there, that'd fit...

Correct, if you scroll up to my photo I have it between the O and Y. You may have to trim that plastic piece behind the Y. Also seen in my photo above

Yeah all done. I just have to plug the idiot hole up too. I haven’t even done the other work yet.

Thanks. I think it was you saying I needed the garnish for the TSS sensor. Do we really need one or is that just to protect the sensor from road debris? I don't even see how it would fit on this grill.
