After creating this thread nearly a year and a half ago and agonizing over whether to go Pro or not, I finally ordered a set of lamps tonight. I elected to go with the non-Pro lamps, despite liking the all-black layout better than the chrome strip. I simply couldn't do the etching and there are no alternatives to replace them without opening the lamps. No disrespect to those who wanted the all-black. If I had a Pro it would've been a no-brainer.

A word of advise to those ordering lamps. See what local dealers can do for you in terms of pricing relative to the usual suspects. I've found the price of the lamps only swing $20-30, but shipping can be huge. I ended up with a dealership near my house that wasn't the bottom dollar in terms of price per lamp, but was cheaper in the shipping option, so I'm pleased with what I did. I'm not convinced I could have gone too much lower.

$1317 plus shipping was the lowest I found. I went Pro (own a Pro) but wouldn’t go Pro if I didn’t (personal preference).

I got $1,323 plus shipping and was at $1,350 total which was the best I saw. Anywhere I could get the lamps cheaper the shipping was higher.

I agree on your lamp stance. I have all OEM Pro parts (grille, fogs, skid) but I’ve said before as the don’t have Pro badging I’m on board. I just wish the 2018 Pro in Calvary Blue has the moonroof as it would have solved everything.

Good price. Sounds like the same plan I’d do with a non-Pro. Whatever makes you like the truck the most :)

gonna cost me around 1500 to get a set to hawaii. ironically enough the stealer over here wants about that per headlight lol. also, i dont own a pro, but gonna opt for the pro headlights anyway. if they are around the same price, why not. if i dont like the moniker can always cover it up, but from what i saw shouldnt bother me any.

Any inherent risks with the harness? I read that a different harness caused electrical/battery problem, is this true?

I just received mine from Olathe yesterday. No issues. Now, I'm waiting on the harness.

How long did your headlights take from when you ordered? I'm on two weeks at the moment.

Weird they both came in one box...mine came in two boxes and appear to be the boxes they ship from Toyota in.

Hmmm, I'm not sure why it was done differently. I looked at the tracking and it came directly from their dealership. I pulled the broken down box out of my recycle and it's unmarked except for the shipping label, so it appears they put the individual boxed OEM headlights into a regular box at the dealership to ship it. I'm glad it was done this way since I've read about broken tabs from shipping.

    Toyota of Nashua.

Most dealerships have parts arms which sell cheaper. Most dealers are within $5-15 of each other. Toyota of Nashua was a state over so their shipping was cheap. I ordered Monday night and had them today. I would have had them yesterday if UPS wasn’t running slow.

I put mine in tonight. The worst part is unhooking the bumper cover at the flare. I really dig the sequential turn signal. I don’t want to ever do that again!
