So you’re supposed to have 2 T’s but you only got 1? Sounds like you’re low on T’s. I know someone who can help.

@Pinay how many T's you got now? All this T talk made me realize I'm not current on your growing collection.

This would be the usual course of action if the OP had proof that he didn’t buy it like this or that the shippers didn’t do it. Unfortunately he has no ability to demand anything from any dealer/service center, as there’s zero proof that he didn’t cause the damage.

If the OP had saved the pictures from the posting, asked the seller to take full pics and video prior to completing the sale, asked the shipping company to take full pics, or inspected the vehicle prior to signing at delivery, then none of this would be an issue. But you can’t expect a seller to replace or waste time on an issue that isn’t their responsibility to address for a one-time customer that lives states away.

Now if the OP’s local dealer/service center wants to establish a good relationship with a new customer, then they’ll help him out by at least ordering the part for him or providing possible solutions.

I’ve dealt with vehicle transportation companies more times than I ever want to (with more to come) and there’s no way in hell the vehicle is going on a truck without a full set of pics and no way it’s getting signed for without comparing each pic to the vehicle at the destination. That being said, every legit (insured) vehicle transportation service will do an extremely thorough inspection and something like a clearly visible missing letter would definitely be annotated on the pre-delivery inspection report. These companies want to ensure that they aren’t liable for anything when transporting a vehicle, so every little ding or flaw is listed on the form.

    OP,

Unfortunately this is one of those live and learn moments man. Hopefully it all works out for ya. Bite the bullet, pay for the part through your local parts/service dept, and build a good relationship with them. Best of luck.

Not as much as you’d think, especially in Southern states. I know a hand guy, if you’re looking to do the same upgrade to your pro.

The initial plan was to have a communal habitat but they didn’t get along lol
