Let’s plan the run up the Cooper to Moultrie in July. This weekend is a no go due to Fathers Day and I’ve got UTA next weekend. I also can take a day off during the week if it works for everyone else.

Happy with the wild peaks myself, I run them as street tires(km3 as offroad). Ran the Cooper ATR, ATP, AT3, ST Maxx In the past and also were happy with them all. I wouldn't put one over the other except the stmaxx, which is a more aggressive tread pattern. Price talks.

I am pretty happy with my Cooper AT3s in 285/75r16 after running the STT Pros in 265/75r16. Much quieter and the gas mileage is about the same.

What's y'alls opinions on Cooper ATs vs AT3s? The tread pattern looks the same. It looks like the AT3 is available in C or E and the regular is STD (standard?).

I guess if I ask 5 people about tires I'll get 5 different answers.
Thanks for the thread link. I've got some reading to do!

How far of a run is that? Thatd be a fun day. We debated leaving the boat in bohicket for the rest of the time the wife is pregnant so that it's easier on her. We may still change our mind. Nice people there.

EDIT: 50 miles from Limehouse Landing at least

It would definitely be fun, especially with a few boats. I’d top off fuel downtown after making the run from Bohicket but shouldn’t have an issue either way with range.

    What’s everybody's fuel capacity and/or range?

My tank is 61gal and cruising at about 30mph I can go about 200 miles. WOT is about 150 miles.

What kind of range does your boat have? At WOT I can make it about 120 miles, at 25mph I can go about 160 miles. If we do that run I might bring a 5 gallon gas can just in case.

My max speed trimmed out at 6,000rpm is 38-40mph. I imagine your boat is much faster

My boat is just a little guy at 18’ with a 90hp Yamaha. I run the Navionics app on my phone and a Garmin GPSmap chart plotter/ depth finder, have a mounted VHF with AIS and a 8’ antenna.
