No mount, fits like a glove on top of the 2/3rd seat folded down. I was super stoked. I sleep in my shell and I can reach through and grab stuff too!

There are a bunch of lower cost Chinese knock offs out there. Alpicool sells similar fridge and freezer units for a lot less... $180-350 price range.

Dometic is the premium/trendy brand. Good products, but overpriced for what they are IMO.

No, that is something I have to figure out. Is the idea that the second battery would power the fridge when the engine is off? Or they both drain albeit slowly?

yeah its so you can run the fridge when the engine is off, more for like camping trips etc so you, they sell a genesis dual battery kit that connects the two together, has a solenoid switch so if one battery is low it switches between and charges both. thinking of getting a the same brand fridge.

Cool, thanks. I am researching now. The only issue with the dual battery are the necessary modifications. I would want more of a turnkey solution.

good to know. I have one too and I was going to build a platform for it too I think. Do you know how much room there is when the top is opened to the roof?

Good call. When you fold the lower seat cushion forward, there are two metal loops on it. The back of the cab also has metal loops. I figure I will just use some straps and connect those over the fridge.

    Good call.

The lid in the middle seat can completely open due to the 'dome.' The other side can only go to 45 degrees or so:

Ok. So Id have to do something fairly close to the storage so that way i can open it. I was hoping to elevate it so i could get to the storage under the seat. Itll be made more difficult with the @MESO molle panel up there

He was going to snuggle in the single seat.

His cancer burst last Friday and he passed. It's been wild. I am so lucky to have had him for 11.5 years. He did not suffer and had a wonderful 'sleep.' He is super happy, healthy and always with me now (Tiny Dancer lyrics keep playing in my head for some reason).
