Quoted me $68 for a cabin and $50 something for the engine air filter.
Got the cabin for $4 and engine for $5..
    Unreal.

My first practically free mod. Cut off, grind smooth and paint my stock slider/steps. Damn thing always hit my ankle and were useless. Really need real sliders but these will work for parking lot damage.

Buddy had a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and he done just like you do without no problems. I don't understand why I have had the same issue with 2 new Tacoma's. :(

I may try one more thing. Before I shut the truck off and the A/C off reach down and turn the temp knob over on high heat with the A/C still on and let it run for a few minutes. Then if that don't work I'll put a can of that cleaning foam though the system and then drive up to the service dept and have them drain the Freon out so I won't have a A/C just like the used trucks I use to own. Damn shame I cannot have a A/C in a new Toyota Tacoma that does not smell like cow shit. I figured 3 years between the 2 Tacoma's I have owned this one would not have the same issue. Wrong. Another costly mistake I made buying another Tacoma.

No doubt! I use probably the same ones you buy. I took the K&N reusable filter out and threw it in the dumpster. These filters on Amazon are so cheap I am not going to mess with cleaning a filter.

Maxtrax on the rack but not sure it works for me since I think the light bar will be in the way. I may move maxtrax to the top rack once the lightbar is installed. Anyone have lightbar installed with maxtrax?

I had mine off for 2 weeks but put it back on yesterday. I don't like to see all the exposed metal under the front end is why I put mine back on.

It's a little thing (but isn't it always the little things) but I had some sound deadening mat left over from the Doors (Kicker Speaker Upgrades) and the Tailgate (Tailgate Lock & Open) so I stuck it on the back of the cab behind the driver's seat, just in case it helped with the Differential Whine. I only had enough to do behind the 40% seat, but I ran the mat right behind the "Latch" hook and the unfinished look was eating at me. So... I went on eBay and found a guy selling neoprene samples for a buck or so and used some spray adhesive to clean the look up. I should sleep a little better now

"Sad"... yes I know this. I'll probably need to do the same thing behind the other to hooks before I get a good nights rest, but the orange doesn't look near as bad as the sound mat did
