i have the manual lumbar knob on the rh side, it was a much needed improvement over the full bench seat i used to truck with for hours on end!

6'1" 230lbs. here and 32" inseam. Like Clearwater Bill said in post # 27, the inseam thing is key to this. Over the 19 years of owning my truck, I'd say it's overall pretty comfortable but I remember on long drives of 2-4 hours, my right knee would ache like hell due to it being bent sideways over the console as my right leg is working the pedals. I have a flat board between the console and the seat to keep my right leg more upright and it helps.
Other than that it's a comfortable truck especially considering the idea that our 1st-gens were NOT designed back in those days with us big American guys firmly in mind.

Found one in the area and sat in it. With the seat all the way back I fit ok. The bigger thing I noticed was how high up I felt, I felt like I was sitting on top of the hood haha. My 2nd gen and 3rd gens had a similar feel, but it seemed more pronounced in this one.

    Anyone have similar feelings?

Yeah my son has a 2nd gen and I have a 1st gen. It's actually one of the many things I like about it. Really helps off-road to pick lines and stuff. In his 2nd gen I don't feel that. It feels like my butt is dragging in his truck lol. I feel like I am sitting down in too far.

I sat in a friend's lifted 2nd gen on 35s once and I still felt like I was way sunken into it when sitting in the driver's seat (I'm 5'11 so not short or anything). The 1st gen seating position feels so much better as far as that goes. You feel higher up even if you're really not

Now, his seats did feel a lot more comfortable I'll give them that

I am that tall. Love my DC but you for sure do not want to sit behind me. It was fine when the kids were small but now no way.
