I have the Icon 3L with the stock overload spring still in. Gave me a full 3” of lift. I can’t complain. Canopy, drawers and tow a boat it doesn’t care. Bed empty they are a little much though so I try to keep weight in it.

wild! How does that workout that you get 3” with a 1.5 AAL?

im tempted by these icon RXTs so I can jump
on a swingout rear one day without contemplating another big leaf pack purchase. But given the current state of things...not sure whether spending all that dough upfront is good.

Fat fingers give it a 3”. My bad I didn’t catch that. I mean to say 2” with the over load.

I bought my CBI bumper from Truck Brigade and they were really great to deal with. They have free shipping on most things with bumpers being one of the few exceptions - they ship free for racks and skids and everything else though. They had the cheapest price for what I wanted and I paid a flat rate of $100 shipping on a plate bumper which is still is pretty hard to beat.

Looking for a canopy for a 2018 Tacoma short bed. Prefer in MGM color but any color would do. Asking for a friend.

I’m not affiliated with them but I always recommend ATS leaf springs. I run their 4-leaf pack and am about to throw in an AAL since I’m running a Drifter, fridge, HC rear w/swing and a 35” on the swing. Still probably have 2” of lift without adding the AAL. Cheaper than Dakars too.

dang! that's great. I'm assuming the 4-leaf are their HD packs. https://www.autoandtrucksprings.com...vy-duty-rear-leaf-spring-both-sides-90-297hd/

Super cheap compared to everything else! I'm betting the HD one are overkill for me with just a canopy, drawers and a bike rack. How much are the added leafs? didn't see them there.

I would look em up on IG and message them, the guy is awesome. Small mom and pop shop and all made in USA. I started a thread on them in the suspension subforum. I think they offer off the shelf: 4leaf medium duty, 4leaf HD, 5leaf HD. All don’t include overload leaf in the count so physically the 4leaf pack is 4+OL.
I had them with just a bed rack and RTT and they rode fine so I would think the 4leaf HD would be perfect if you want 3” of lift, medium duty if you want a little less.

here’s a pic of the stance with just the HC rear w/ about 1-1/2” lift up front

About 2 months ago I cleaned mine and sprayed every nook, cranny, and every square inch with fluid film. It worked great. Now it's starting again. I hate these things

Dakars suck ass. I’ve beat on my ATS leafs and have pretty much no noise from them. Likely will clean them when I take them apart to install the AAL but they’ve been on for like 6 months so far with no notable noise

Most of their stuff is drop shipped from the manufacturer... My RCI skids came direct from RCI w/free shipping as well as my Prinsu shipping direct from CBI.
