Howdy, I'm confirming for Chelan->Ellensburg. Looking at the route, I'd plan to meet y'all at gas stop in Chelan, and leaving once we hit Ellensburg. I might extend by one more night past Ellensberg, but that'll have to be a real-time call with my wife.

    Hey Folks,

Itinerary has been updated with a bit shorter time frame, July 3 - July 9. The OP has been updated with the new schedule (departures, lunch/gas, and camping locations). Let us know if this still works for you and if you have any comments or questions. Thanks!

Watching your guys’ planning of this trip. Looks awesome (even if I can’t go)

Just an FYI that the above fugitive was captured in Teanaway this afternoon by Kittitas County Sheriff's office, US Forest Service and WDFW officers

I'm going to offer we meet in Chelan at the Shell (301 E Woodin Ave, Chelan, WA 98816). Looks like there is ample parking for a bunch of rigs, and most of the food is nearby if folks are stopping for lunch. What's everyone think?

Also, if it helps at all, I'm pretty handy at map work and wouldn't mind putting together a GPX file with the notable POIs and logistics stops. I'll definitely have one for the days I am out with everyone, but wouldn't mind adding additional points if needed - either way, happy to share.

I also forgot to mention that in addition to my other gear, I have a battery powered Kobalt Chainsaw I picked up over the winter. Sounds like there is a decent chance of downed trees, so excited to finally give it a test. It's battery powered, so I can charge it off the outlet in the bed.

I’m down for whatever. I’ll have a winch, straps, chains, shackles, snatch block, Stilh 038, shovel, axe and misc tools and other shit that I probably don’t even know that I have that’s all ready in the truck.

20 is really out of my way but I have never been able to drive it (avalanche covering road, time of year, etc) so this is tempting

The detour isn’t bad. You take Rockport-Cascade Rd off Hwy 530. If you guys are coming Hwy 530 anyways from down south it’s probably the same time wise back to Marblemount.

The detour is no big deal, especially if you come up from darrington it’s actually quicker that way, that’s the way I always go anyway. Just ran most of 4 and 5 last weekend, all clear through there, we had to cut a few trees out so you guys should be good to go now. Don’t go through the jungle if you care about your paint though.
