Damn, if you’re supercharged on 4.56 gears and barely matching a 3rd gen there’s something up.

What kind of weight are you carrying? I’ve got 3.73 gears, stealth front plate bumper with winch, Leer topper, cab rack, topper rack, audio system, bunch of tools in the bed, rear plate bumper with swing out and mine still feels fairly quick. Granted I’ve never tried to race anyone, though.

EDIT didn’t see your previous post. Yours does have a lot more weight than mine so I suppose that could be a limiting factor. I’ve sort of wondered at times what it would run like if it was all stock with only the performance mods.

Good looking truck but however I'd like to add the i's and o's (intake and output) I'm very confident the snorkel and the stock exhaust (cali) arent doing you any favors. changing the tire size will also affect your mechanical advantage. your spare off the truck will help, that's 80-90lbs you don't have to overcome. To put it another way, I can feel the advantage of just losing 20lbs off the nose on my truck, in both cornering and acceleration with a change in a lighter battery. Also at the 1/4 ml in my 4runner long ago in undergrad my e.t. dropped .1 of a sec just removing the stock spare and trailer hitch which I say was about 100lbs combined. Please don't take this as bashing, just helpful observations.

That's true. A snorkel while being fresh air breathing is restrictive due to all the bends it creates. A lot of turbulence.

To y’all who have re-geared. What would one expect to pay to have someone re-gear front and rear diffs? I have to experience rebuilding diffs and don’t want to mess with it myself.

depends on the place. i found a place that did $400 flat per axle for labor. plus the parts. look at a master install kit.

I would see if my friends shop could do it. They do great work with hummers and exotics.Plus they are local to you. Tomball I think.

When I go to do mine, mine will be done by someone that is far more experienced than myself too. I have a parts list ready to go for when I order, from ecgs and Toyota because I guess there are some little things that don’t come in the kit from ecgs. I will send you the parts list. It was sent to me from @BassAckwards a while back.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to do the FPR mod with my current setup? It didn’t look like the one in the video on the first page of this post. Should I just get a T-connector to hook the two hoses together? If so where would I even get that piece?

none taken. I was going to pull the tire and see how it feels. I just changed up my battery setup as well. I know the weight is not doing me any favors. the tires i would say are a big part. Truck did not have the rear bumper and tire but was running smaller tires and regeared and almost felt quicker that it does now. Its not horrible but was expecting more especially going past just the stock S/C.

Easy to test out the snorkel no snorkel by pulling the conduit from the box but we all know that will cause some limitations. The exhaust is shit for sure. If it makes that big of a difference ill reconsider some things but see others some what heavy stock gearing CA trucks seem to have more pep. Anyway mainly want to make sure there is on mechanical issues. Some slowness will be there no matter what with how the truck is built.
