From what I understand, complete calibration dumps as well as RAM dumps and an awful lot of reverse engineering is what led us to where we are today

Mine doesnt either. I got the 04B04 TSB from a member on here, flashed my truck to that and if I ever need I'll use it to flash back. Think I got the link to it in @tonered's signature.

Did you try to flash your saved OEM file? It didn't work.

if you just replied I have not seen it yet. Looking at some tickets for updating right now though.
you can send another ticket if you like sure.
including name, order number, and most importantly your ECU ID.

Just want to confirm I CANNOT read out ECU code until software is registered? I don't have registry key yet but tried Tactrix cable anyway, no joy.

correct. unless you have some other OBDII adapter and software that can get it.

    Also,
we will be in stock next week on cables.
we plan to offer both wired, and Wi-Flash cables (still in development).

It will happen when it happens.

The OVTuned site has been updated and the Beta page is gone. I would guess that means that the vF and FM updates are just about ready?

Honestly with 04B14 Stock, I am often forgetting that I am not Tuned. It is not a bad place to be at the moment. Hold tight and keep a weathered eye out for OVT posts. Asking is not going to get it here any faster. In the case of the Dev thread shitshow, it is often very much the opposite.

vF Tuner TCU update for autos will release when we release 2.0 final for AT. Not much longer.

04B14 Rafael is working on, and should be ready asap.

Got some positive feedback on my previous post so I am going to add my modified downshift schedules to the discussion. I did not modify the 2-1 downshift from stock. I expect to further tweak both upshift and downshift schedules as I get more driving time on them. My typical drive is through winding, rolling hills, always accelerating up or down. FYI, the maps for 04A61 are labeled KPH in the speed column, but my testing says they are MPH. Yes, I sent a Zendesk ticket to OVTune on this.

I got the reg key and read out these data, just wondering if I should visit the dealer and get whatever updates are on offer before I proceed with further registrations. Or can I flash this myself before I apply the 2.0 tune for my 2018 truck with the good transmission?
