Did you get the front skid too? Or doing a custom one?

Wish that AP bumpers worked with other skids, I have their IFS skid but it's pretty narrow...doesn't cover the cams like Budbilts do

I ordered the ifs skid, the transmission skid and the LRO fuel tank skid with the bumper and only the Fuel skid And bumper made it. I called and they told me they would ship out the other two skids today. Apparently the transmission skid was damaged in the warehouse and they had to send out another one to be powder coated.

Took a stab at fixing my swing out sag. . 1-1/4” x 3/16” tube through the bumper, there’s a 1/4” plate welded in perpendicular to the 1/4” strap that runs up the back of the mount. I hope this does the trick. I have one more card up my sleeve if it needs more but I think I’ll be good. If not I’m going to cut off the swing out pull pin, box the c-mount and get creative on how to lock it.

Today it's what I did to my other Tacoma - sold the wreck that became my parts truck 10 years ago. It's been taking up space in my driveway and getting parts swapped long enough. One of my neighbors told me he's been eyeing that truck for 10 years, and finally stopped by to make an offer. He got a deal on a pretty easy rebuild project with 120k miles on it, and I got lots of good body parts. A win-win.
    Tacoma_wreck_9-25-2010.jpg

Oh yeah, we did make it drivable to his house down the road, but not before cleaning 10-year-old gas gunk out of the tank and replacing the fuel pump, of course. Knew that would happen...

Yes, my (and my wife's!) feelings, exactly. I am really glad to be able to sell it to someone who will trick it out - he's going to do a 5" lift on it. As a pro welder, he will make short work out of fixing the very minor frame damage that got it totaled. I can't wait to post a few pics here when he comes by with it.

39D6AFAF-80B5-40F4-B0D2-0A2B310ECE7D.jpg It’s finally back together, loctited and sealed. I’m fairly happy with the pattern. I had a shim stack picked out yesterday and spent about 4 hours yesterday trying another 5 or 6 shim stacks. Slept on it and decided my original pick from yesterday was the right one. Took everything apart and really cleaned it for final assembly. Spent about an hour getting the solid spacer shims to the right setting. I learned a lot and have a lot of things that I’ll do different next time, including making set up bearings so I don’t have to press them off every time while setting up the pinion depth. Going to save my old bearings and will use them as set up bearings next time I have one apart.

Going to go steal some fresh cardboard from the furniture store to cover the work bench for the front diff and study the air locker install guide one more time. Will probably start on it tonight, but I’m still waiting for my dial indicator 90 degree tool to show up.

Installed this momentary switch that goes to a Pop & Lock to my tailgate. I didn't like the idea of it locking every time I locked my truck door. I know it's not centered because I still wanted to use at least one of the structural plastic ridges underneath the panel. Worked out pretty well. I'm going to be painting the power door/window panel here soon along with a couple of other pieces in my truck interior. Probably the speaker covers and the kick plate. Just trying to get rid of the full grey interior as most people have. Snazzy it up a bit eh?!

I think I should leave some paper towels inside the intake runners for good measure, and forget about them when I put the supercharger back.

White wire with the black stripe is your ground (coming from the truck), that connects to the white wire coming from the turn signal. Green connected to black. At least that's how I'm 99% sure I did mine, without undoing it to check.

You're going to have a hyper flash afterward, need an ep35 relay or install resistors to fix it
