I have 272,000 on my 2000 SR5 ext. cab step side. Original transmission and engine. Only replaced the battery, radiator, and ball joints. Needs a paint job. I would love to purchase another one exactly like mine but that year and model can be pricey. People ask me all the time if I want to sell it. I will never sell it.

    2003 Tacoma TRD 3.4L 5 speed manual 4 X 4 I just cleared 400,000 mi.
I change oil like socks and when it needs something I strain to get it. Top end was done sometime back. Just got thru doing Timing Belt, AC compressor, Battery, CV Axles, Front Suspension A frames, Struts, Belts and more! It still has the horsepower as when I bought it. Still stock. no issues with fuel pump yet.I will probably be buried in it!

Wow, that is quite a shopping list!
Is that the 1st timing belt ? Or the 4th. Curious about expected service life.
    How about the fuel pump?
My 01 was pampered the 1st 150k then neglected for 50k...One oil change & air filter !
Seems to have survived quite well .

No Issues with the Fuel pump as of yet. Here it is at 400,000 miles. All miles have been acquired in the Mojave and Nevada Desert. It goes where no man has been in eons.

Thanks GQ! It has had 3 Clutches and related bearings. Front End bearings twice replaced. Drive Shaft replaced at 200,000. Numerous Clutch master cylinders. Rack and Pinion Same.
Like I always say. I use it for what it was made for.

230k on my 1998 no issues other than general maintenance and I drive it pretty hard.

Hi Jay, I bought mine with 173000+ miles 3 years ago. Took it to the most recommend Toyota guy in town and dropped a $1000 into it. "Good to go another 100,000 miles"
Well in those 3 years I've only changed the oil and last year the radiator. Then just had it serviced the other day. I'm just 300 miles short of the 200,000 mile mark. Gave it a good wash and wax and had to replaced the cracked windsheld. Love my Tacoma.
Had a Jeep for many years and was over it. The truck best suits me for what I need one for.
