TSS has been fine with mine as well. Lifted 2.7" in the front, then swapped to the 2020 grille which moves the radar 0.4" higher. No issues. No front diff bearing vibes. No driveline vibes in general. Adaptive cruise works well in the rain and in the dark in my 3+ hour drives to and from trails. I also make full use of the bed cubby that got deleted in 2019 :p

based on this picture there wouldn't be a transmission cooler because it would be mounted on the right of the center grille pillar on the driver side from where your hand is and where your looking, im starting to think this is another well executed Friday 3rd gen prankster who purposely omitted taking a picture on the right and correct side of that center pillar where the trans cooler can be seen and located based on all the info that has been provided so easy a caveman could find it

Is transmission fluid overheating even a problem on 3rd gens with the new AC60 as it was on 2nd gens? I never had a problem with either truck, but it was pretty funny to see the Thomson Reuters Polar Tacoma overheat its transmission, in Antarctica.

The last 6 of your VIN is not the number your truck is off the assembly line. It’s just part of a serial number. Here is the 2016 vin reader

I spoke with my dealer today and verified that there is a puck like cooler on the side of the transmission and another cooler built into the rad so they are not going to do anything. I plan on adding an external cooler in front of the rad like the OEM one.

Looks like he deleted his vin, you could delete your quote of him too and it will be all gone.

If you know the last 6, a criminal can figure out the first 11 digits fairly easily and then have your whole vin. The last 6 are unique to your truck and generally is the number it came off the line.

Yeah, I asked the service mgr. if it would void my warranty if I install an aftermarket cooler. He said no but that I would have to have fluid added before driving very far.

Your serv. mgr. should have said "you'll need to add more fluid before you drive anywhere". Not just far.

There's a very particular method of adding fluid too. Unless the cooler has the exact specs of how much it holds, and then you need to calculate for the lines too.

Yeah, that is a problem. I live about 13 miles from dealer, is that too far to drive?
    Sorry about the attachment.

if you're going to add a cooler make sure you get extra transmission fluid so you can add it before you connect the hoses to the new cooler. You have make up for the amount of fluid that will now go through the new cooler.
