yeah the skip feature on the 10 metres pretty fun but it's Hit or Miss it's not as directly as ham

... pretty sure this John Deer is deff in the category of paying AND playing... Those sure are good quality and super nice! JD and Husquvaranas make some excellent yard equipment!

 

I would be careful keying the mic with that thing if its a high powered radio... Seen plenty of guys develop problems/cancer running with amp boosters powering our manpad radios. But they were running the amp on there plate carrier.

So most of the husqvarna’s have the Briggs and stratton itek engine in them, they are know to throw a push rod/ bend them after a while. This is what happened to me, I purchased more around the motor this time vs the mower.

So lots of over the road guys use high powered setups, you can turn down the wattage so that you don’t broadcast as far. Most 10m radios half to be modified to run in an 11m band so that they can broadcast on them.

 

Wow! Didn't realize they contracted out their mowers to brigs and stratton, which is a Honda motor correct?

Are yall running a separate amp to extend coverage on these? Or are these things pushing closer to like 10 watts?

Evening all! Well, tore out the little step and the beach front from the green house, per the wife's request. Dog was digging up the beach, and the plywood step was too thin anyway. I actually got a compliment on the plan during the work! One done, one to go (this was the sand in the pool culprit), but have to get some more bricks.
