No not really. Just remember the sheet metal is sharp I'm cut all up. But I work with glass everyday so I'm used to it. Cant wait to hear the difference tho.

I did the opposite, I used a little on the inside and covered the entirety of the inside door panel

 

Dude I used so much of it On the inside. my door is heavy af now. I didn't get the rear doors done today. I'll do that tomorrow

If you need only one AP you can set it up with their app. It is limited in customization though, pretty much set up your ssid and password. I believe it's only limited to one AP though, can't set up a site with multiplewmultiple APs it.

I ditched unifi and moved to Aruba instant on APs for my house. It's completely cloud controlled so no need to set up anything local and you can play around with it away from you house unlike the a unifi AP that was set up only with the app.

Pricing is kinda in line with unifi APs (2x2 ~$80, 3x3 ~$130, 4x4 ~$180) except for the outdoor AP which is 2x2 and $210 compared up a 2x2 AC-M that is $100.

 

This looks great! I went half assed (almost 2 years ago) and didn't go back to finish it up yet... One of those days... I only did the bottom half of inside of the doors, and that made a huge difference.

 

Yea I think I kinda went over kill on the inside of the door. Not much metal showing at all. I thought about wrapping the bar too. But was unsure if the window would hit it.

 

Now I'm looking forward to the drive to work tomorrow to hear how it sounds

 

Might reduce visibility if you go back and do the top half.....
